Book 3 update
Working title announced
WOrking on my third book and currently 38 pages into the manuscript. Developing multiple shorter story ideas into a large over arching story. The current title for the novella is Desert Plains: Under Sandy Skies. Here is an excerpt from the current manusript unedited.
(By morning the town was in sight. Clint, however, was losing consciousness. Eun-Jeong made a straight line to the town, only for the car to patter out two hundred yards away. Between them and the two was densely packed brush. She was forced to aid him in walking across the brush. They reached the halfway point and Clint went limp. She carried him along in a struggle for another fifty yards before falling to the ground.
She stood back up and tried to lift his body back up. She failed time after time. She began to cry when an unwelcome feline made her presence known. In a tree above, a mountain lion had appeared and eyed Clint’s body.
“I have had enough of these animals.” Eun-Jeong said covering Clint’s body with own.
She pulled out Clint’s revolver and aimed it up the tree. Her and the feline remained poised to attack, but Eun-Jeong’s arm began to waver from exhaustion.
“Fuck!.” She said pulling the trigger and missing the mountain lion by a yard.)
